  • We notarize most common documents, including acknowledgments, jurats, powers of attorney, affidavits, and other general legal documents. If you’re unsure whether your document can be notarized, feel free to call or text before scheduling.

  • Yes. EZ Notary SD is a mobile notary service, which means we come to your home, office, hospital, care facility, or another agreed-upon location anywhere in San Diego County.

  • California law allows a maximum of $15 per notarized signature.
    Travel fees and any after-hours charges are discussed and agreed upon before the appointment.

  • Signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID, such as:

    • California driver’s license or ID

    • U.S. passport

    • Other government-issued IDs allowed under California law

  • Yes. We provide mobile notary services to hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, as long as the signer is alert, aware, and able to sign willingly.

  • Yes. All signers must be physically present at the time of notarization and able to provide proper identification.

  • Usually no. Most documents must be signed in the presence of the notary. If your document is already signed, please contact us to confirm whether notarization is still possible.

  • No. Clients are responsible for providing any required witnesses unless otherwise arranged in advance.

  • Yes. Same-day, evening, weekend, and holiday appointments may be available depending on availability. Additional fees may apply.

  • We serve all of San Diego County, including Scripps Ranch, La Jolla, Mira Mesa, Downtown San Diego, North County, and surrounding areas.

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and other electronic payment methods.

  • No. As a notary public, we cannot provide legal advice or assist in completing documents. Please ensure your documents are fully prepared before your appointment.
